Beacon Street Town House
This 1890 town house residence is located in the Back Bay of Boston, over looking the Charles river, and began with a meticulous restoration and rearrangement of spaces of the three primary floors for living, guest quarters and a master suite level. The interior work continued on with the installation of a collection of masterful cabinetry and millwork, accompanied with art and furnishings that is both a backdrop for sophisticated entertaining and a genuine world for family life.
The collection is modern to live with and mostly Italian in origin: where selections range from custom-designed furniture, hand crafted specifically for the residence to bold twentieth century photography. The criteria for the project had to encompass the existing floor plans with grace and engage the river views throughout. A Mediterranean palette of warm, restful greys and luminous blues lends timeless understatement to the over all scheme.
